A fruit acid (AHA) that brightens skin by dissolving dead skin. It is effective and proven; the price is that it sensitizes the skin to the sun. Sunscreen is non-negotiable during the period you use it; use it in the evening, start with a low percentage, and do not put it in the same night as retinol.
