What is this ingredient, what does it do?
Protein derivative (moisture / hair care)
What is it, what should you do?
The form of collagen broken into small fragments that can penetrate skin and hair; it smooths texture by forming a thin moisture-holding layer on the surface. There is no strong evidence that it increases the skin's own collagen production; its main benefit is instant moisturizing and softening. It is considered safe and allergy is rare.
