A strong active substance that effectively reduces the bacteria causing acne, also frequently used in pharmacy products. Its effect is proven but it can dry the skin and cause peeling and, in some people, irritation; so starting with a low dose and using it alongside a moisturizer is important. It also requires care as it can bleach some fabrics and hair.
