Gentlest exfoliating acid (PHA)

What is it, what should you do?

From the gentlest group among exfoliating acids (PHA, polyhydroxy acid); because its molecule is large it penetrates the skin more slowly than AHAs and the chance of irritation is low. It is a safer option than other exfoliating acids for those prone to sensitive skin and rosacea. It also has a mild humectant and antioxidant property.
