What is it, what should you do?
A petroleum derivative but a cosmetic-grade, highly purified oil/petroleum jelly. The cancer claim does not apply to the cosmetic grade; on the skin it forms an excellent barrier that prevents water loss and is a classic of eczema care. Its only downsides are a heavy feel and pore-clogging in some people; acne-prone skin may prefer lighter moisturizers.
