What is it, what should you do?
A synthetic polymer powder (a type of microplastic) used to give cosmetics a smooth texture and a matte feel; nylon-6 and polypropylene are relatives used for a similar purpose. It has no known harm to the skin, but because it does not break down easily in nature it carries environmental concern, so some brands prefer natural powders instead. There is no need to worry for your skin health; the issue is entirely environmental.
