A group of substances of oat, microorganism or plant origin that soothe the skin and strengthen its barrier (ectoin, colloidal oatmeal and avena sativa extract/flour are also from this group). They reduce redness, prevent moisture loss and give a feeling of relief to irritated skin. They are especially preferred for those prone to sensitive skin, eczema or rosacea, and allergy is very low.
