What is it, what should you do?

An emulsifier (ethoxylated fatty alcohol derivative) that keeps oil and water together and keeps creams smooth and homogeneous. It has been widely used for decades and is generally considered safe. It can rarely cause mild irritation on very sensitive skin, but this is an exceptional case.
