What is it, what should you do?
The silicone family: gives a product a silky slip and fills in roughness. The belief that it "suffocates the skin" is wrong; silicone forms a breathable film and allergy to it is negligible. The real issue is a matter of cosmetic feel: some people dislike the sensation of buildup on hair and skin. It requires no health concern.
