What is it, what should you do?

A preservative (MIT/MCIT) that spread as a replacement for parabens; because it caused a contact-allergy epidemic in Europe it was declared "allergen of the year", and the EU banned it in leave-on products and limited it to rinse-off ones. If you have an allergic constitution, stay away from this pair especially; it is a known trigger of itchy, red hand and face eczema.
