Pore-clearing exfoliant (BHA)
What is it, what should you do?
An oil-soluble acid (BHA) that cleans the inside of pores; one of the most proven cosmetic weapons against blackheads and acne. Safe when used correctly: start with a low concentration, flaking may occur in the first weeks, and use it together with sunscreen. Be careful if you have an aspirin allergy; in pregnancy the common view is that a low dose on small areas is no problem, but consult a doctor.
