Sulfur (anti-acne, can be drying)
What is it, what should you do?
A natural mineral used in acne treatment for centuries; it absorbs excess oil and is mildly effective against bacteria. Although not as harsh as benzoyl peroxide it can dry the skin and has a characteristic odor. It works as a spot treatment on oily, acne-prone skin, but on dry skin care should be taken against irritation.
